Austin to Maui and Kona return flights seem to have have 2-stops on most dates. San Antonio doesn’t have Kona availability.

Hawaiian has round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Honolulu (HNL) for $399-$423, NONSTOP. Flights in May, August, September, and October. Departures on Thursday and Sunday.
A negative COVID test result is required for entry. We used Walgreens for their “IDNOW RAPID NAAT” test and it was free. You’ll also need to register your results with the Hawaii Safe Travelers Program.

Alaska Airlines has round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Honolulu (HNL) for $254-$268 with a connection. Flights April to May. Departures on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Very few weekends available. Origin/Destination reversible.
An overnight stay in Los Angeles is required each-way and [a negative COVID test result is required for entry.] Be sure to adjust the timing of your COVID testing to compensate for the overnight stay in LAX, or take your COVID test in LAX.

This fare has very specific dates of Departure/Returns. The minimum stay would be a 3-day trip Sunday to Wednesday and the next shortest trip would be a 6-day trip Thursday to Wednesday.
If I’m not mistaken, this is the cheapest Nonstop flight we’ve seen for Honolulu. We have covered cheaper fares to Hawaii, but those required a stop.
