We only recommend getting this card if you fly Delta and check your bag, a lot. Otherwise, the perks and earnings just aren’t good enough to warrant the yearly $99 fee. Instead, it’s probably a better option get the American Express® Green Card and transfer AMEX Membership Rewards® points into transfer partner airlines such as Delta. The fee is $150 a year, but this will give you better 3X earning categories, better perks, and the ability to transfer points into a lot of travel partners.
