We update our list of the best limited time offers every week, but we only send out this recap when there have been significant additions to the list. In this post we list coupon codes, discount codes, gift card discounts, and we watch for increases in credit card offers.
There are several 90,000 point credit card sign-up offers on cards with a $0 annual fee (link). If you are a sole proprietor or small business owner we feel this sign-up offer is excellent due to the 0% 12-month introductory-APR and $0 annual fee. The ongoing APR after the introductory period is variable: 18.49% – 24.49%.
There are some new Hopper coupons: $50 Fiji Airways. $25 off Hyatt Hotels. $50 off Abu Dhabi, $50 off Cancun Hotels, $250 off Bermuda Hotels, and more.
Alaska Airlines and Southwest have their gift-cards on sale again at Costco and Sam’s Club for -$20 to -$50 less than the total redeemable value. If you’re planning on booking flights on those airlines, you may be able to get some additional savings by buying a discounted gift-card.
Here are some other offers that we think are worth mentioning. List updated 05/02/2024.
We now list coupon codes, discount codes, gift card discounts, and credit card offers that offer a better value than their historical averages.
- New offer! Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve®: 75,000 point sign-up offer (an increase of 15,000 from April) after spending $4,000 in the first 3-months of being approved for the card. Chase’s best credit-cards have increased their sign-up bonus. If you don’t yet have a credit card that allows for point transfers, we highly recommend the Chase Sapphire Preferred.
- Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card: Spending requirement for 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points reduced to $8,000 after 3-months of being approved. This change will make it more likely that new applicants will be able to hit the requirement for the large sign-up bonus available on this card and it is the best sign-up offer we’ve seen for this card so-far. Previous spending requirement was $15,000, much higher.
- Southwest Airlines $500 gift-card is on sale for only $429 at Costco (online). You can often find these for $450, but anytime we see them for cheaper we’ll note them here.
- 20% off Hyatt Hotels for stays between Apr-25-2024 and Sep-30-2024. Asia/Pacific region only. Deal Ends May-10-2024. Use code “MBSALE“. More details on the promotional page at Hyatt (linked here).
- $50 back at Grand Hyatt after $250 spend (Amex offer). Get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $250 USD in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at Grand Hyatt properties in the US and internationally from 4/8/2024 to 6/30/2024. Two step process: Step 1: Login to your American Express account and register your card for the offer. Step 2: Book at Hyatt.com with the Amex card you registered. Be sure to read the full offer details on the Amex offer page.
- Airfare/Hotel coupons on Hopper: (updated daily-ish) Hopper always has discount coupons on their main page. $100 off Singapore Airlines flights to Singapore, $50 Air New Zealand, $100 off Fiji Airways. $50 off Royal Air Maroc flights, $50 off Air India flights, and more. The full list is on Hopper’s website. Keep in mind that Hopper is an OTA, so don’t expect them to honor the free 24-hour cancellation period, or to have the lowest base fare price. Hopper will try to up-sell you on a lot of extras like “cancel for any reason” policies, if you decide to use Hopper we advise that you decline all of those extras.
- It is common to find Southwest and Alaska Airlines gift-cards for sale at a discount of about -$50 to -$20 off the redeemable value at Costco and Sam’s Club. Before you finalize your booking on either of these airlines, you should check to see if you can save more money by using a gift card.
