There is a new offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and it’s the best we’ve seen historically. Now earn 75,000 Miles and a one-time $250 Capital One Travel credit to use in your first cardholder year once you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. We see this being worth about $1,000 in travel, which is better than the previous offer which didn’t have this $250 travel credit.

Chase has recently changed the sign-up bonus for the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card. You can now earn a companion-pass that is good until February 28, 2026 and also gain 30,000 Rapid Rewards points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of being approved for one of these cards.

Amex has recently increased the welcome offer for several of the co-branded Delta SkyMiles.
Here is the list of the current offers:
Delta SkyMiles® Gold: 80,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $3,000 in purchases on your new card in your first 6 months of card membership.
Delta SkyMiles® Platinum: 90,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $4,000 in purchases on your new card in your first 6 months of card membership.
Delta SkyMiles® Reserve: 100,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $6,000 in purchases on your new card in your first 6 months of card membership.
Chase has increased the sign-up bonus for the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card to 85,000 points. Bonus will post to your account after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
Our notes: This is the highest point offering we’ve seen for this card. Previous high was 75,000 last December. As for other offers, it seems that every February there is an offer that includes a companion pass + about 30,000 points. The companion pass offer may be better than this one, depending on how much you’re able to use it.
If you have been looking to get a Chase Sapphire Card, now may be a good time to pick one up due to an additional statement credit bonus for new card members. Get up to $300 in statement credit on Chase Travel℠ purchases within your first year and also earn 60,000 bonus points after $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of card membership. The offer that was previously running did not include any statement credit bonus.
When compared to previous offers such as the May 2023 offer of 80,000 points or the May 2024 offer of 75,000 points this new October 2024 offer is a good value. Hypothetically, if you were to convert $300 to points at a penny per point, you would end up with 30,000 + the 60,000 sign-up offer.
You may be able to get a higher point offer by applying in-person at a local Chase branch office in person. There is a 70,000 + $300 offer available in branch only, but the spending requirements are higher, $6,000 in 6 months.

The previous offer was 3 nights. Each bonus Free Night Award has a max redemption value of 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points. Which means that if you maximize where you stay, this welcome bonus is equivalent to 250,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points. Resort fees & terms apply.
This card has an annual fee of $125 so we can only recommend this card if you’re a Marriott loyalist that can utilize the card perks enough to offset the annual fee.

Hyatt is offering 20% off Asia/Pacific Hotels (registration required). Amex is offering $50 off when you spend $250 at Grand Hyatt (registration required). Hopper offers the following coupons: $100 off Singapore Airlines flights to Singapore, $50 Air New Zealand, $100 off Fiji Airways. $50 off Royal Air Maroc flights, $50 off Air India flights.

Chase has increased the sign-up bonus for both the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card the new sign-up bonus is now 75,000 after spending $4,000 in the first 3-months of being approved for the card. The previous offer was 60,000. The Sapphire line of cards allow you to transfer points into various hotel and airline point programs. In our opinion, these are two of the best card to hold as a traveler. I personally use Ultimate Rewards points to transfer into Hyatt and United fairly often; those two partners work well with where I’m located and Hyatt has extremely good point redemption options.
A slightly better offer for 80,000 was available around this time last year, but we think this 75,000 point offer is worthwhile as well, especially when considering that we haven’t seen any other offers better than this one for the past 11-months.
Flying Blue is the combined points program of KLM and Air France. At the start of each month they discount select routes. This month, Austin long-haul economy flights to Amsterdam are -15,250 cheaper due to this discount. It’s a good idea to check the promo landing page at the start of each month to see if anything worthwhile pops up.
This time KLM has round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Amsterdam or Paris (AMS, CDG) for 15,000 points + $254-$265 tax/fees, NONSTOP or with a connection. Fare allows for carry-on bag and seat selection. Promotional ends 05/31/2024. Most flights are in May, and also between July and October. Promo awards are refundable (with a €50 Euro fee) and changeable (with a €50 Euro fee + fare price difference).
Flying Blue is a points transfer partner with all the major point programs including Chase Ultimate Rewards and AMEX Membership Rewards®. If you don’t already have a card that allows for point transfers, you should probably get one to make use of these types of deals. (The ability to transfer points is a card perk that isn’t available on all cards).
