Fiji Airways has round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Nadi, Fiji (NAN) starting at $482 with a separate connection in Los Angeles (LAX). Flights in September and October.

Note: This will require that you book two separate round-trip tickets, one for AUS-LAX, and the other for LAX-NAN. Keep in mind that these are on separate carriers, and you will be on the hook if you miss a segment. We advise buying travel insurance that covers missed connections, and that your flight into LAX arrives at least 3-hours before the flight out of it.

Note: Thankfully, the flight from LAX to NAN departs late in the evening, either 9:30 or 11:00 PM, and returns around noon. You shouldn’t have much trouble putting together an itinerary that gives you enough time to make your flights.

Note: Pay attention to the date and time change when traveling to Fiji.
