Today Only: Buy one ticket, get one free on Alaska Airlines. For Leap Day.

Alaska Airlines is having a “buy one/get one” promotion for round-trip flights. Flights on February 29th and March 3rd. Enter the “LEAPDAY” discount code during booking. SALE ENDS AT MIDNIGHT 02/11/2020.

We were able to pull up a couple of tickets between Seattle and Austin for about $255 for both tickets with the discount, which works out to be about $128 per person.

Spirit and Frontier may sometimes have slightly cheaper fares on these dates, but they aren’t worth it in our opinion due to the additional bag fees, poor availability, and excessive fees. Spirit and Frontier seats are 2-to-3 inches smaller (in pitch) than regular airlines.
