Today, United, Air Canada, and Lufthansa have posted some code-share round-trip flights from Austin and San Antonio (AUS, SAT) to Rome, Italy (FCO) for $498-$513 with a connection. Flights March to April.
San Antonio departures are limited.
Lufthansa and United have round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Florence, Italy (FLR) for $491-$499 with a connection. Flights February to March. Departures on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
I know that there are “cheaper” fares to Florence out there right now, but those have multiple stops or long connections, or both. This fare filters out those and is only about $40 more expensive.
